             Señorio del Águila

Our Señorio del Águila wines, ranging from the Robles to the Gran Reservas, are made in the classic northern Spanish style, reflecting our unique nature and traditions. We use the classic varieties: Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Garnacha, with their firm tannins, great ageing potential and ability to produce complex and interesting wines.

After fermentation, these wines are aged in 225 litre French and American oak barrels, followed by further maturation in the bottle. Señorio del Águila wines include Crianzas (6 months in oak plus a further + 12), Reservas (12 + 24) and Gran Reservas (24 + 36).

These wines are sophisticated, smooth and have a good integration of fruit and oak. Aromas are subtle and complex, typified by mellowed spices and toasty notes, ranging from liquorice and pepper in the Robles and Crianzas to vanilla, coffee and mineral in the Reservas.

With their classic image and traditional oak-aged style, these wines are ideal for those looking for a quality Spanish wine.

Soaring high above our vineyards and the stunning Ibérico mountains, the Golden Eagle is the symbol of our winery and inspiration for the Señorio del Águila range of oak-aged wines, made in the elegant and traditional style of northern Spain and awarded to the highest level in international wine competitions.
