Agostón    Castillo de Paniza   Val de Paniza    Señorio del Águila

We produce a range of wine styles. These can be grouped into three broad categories:

Young, fresh and fruity wines.

These soft and easy-drinking wines include whites, rosés and reds, made in various styles to suit different market needs. They display a huge range of aromas, from the crisp floral whites, to the red field berries of the rosés and the rich ripe orchard and forest fruit of the reds. These young wines are bottled within a year of the harvest, are meant to be consumed soon and are ideal for high volumes.

Agostón Spain's Wild Boar, is an exciting brand, launched in 2008. Fruit-driven wines for relaxed occasions, a bold and colourful look, modern packaging and a focus on branding and marketing actions gives it the edge.

With Castillo de Paniza, a young entry wine with a traditional Spanish image, we lead the local Aragón market, selling over one million bottles in the horeca and supermarket sectors.

At the next level, Val de Paniza, has a young and colourful image and a style very well suited to the export markets

Oak-aged reds

These are wines made in the classic northern Spanish style and reflect our unique nature and traditions. Classic varieties are Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Garnacha, with their firm tannins, great ageing potential and ability to produce complex and interesting results. These wines are then aged in 225 litre French and American oak barrels, followed by further maturation in the bottle. Included in this category of wines are Crianzas (6 months in oak + 12 in bottle), Reservas (12 + 24) and Gran Reservas (24 + 36). The resulting wines are sophisticated, with a smoothness of structure and a good integration of fruit and oak. Aromas are subtle and complex, typified by mellowed spices and toasty notes. When young, these wines have liquorice and pepper. Over time, elegant soft vanilla, coffee and mineral notes begin to develop.

Our traditional Señorio del Águila range are made in this style and we also have other ranges within this aged style.
